Continuing the theme ....

Back into uni today. Not really planning to do much painting, I thought I'd just prepare what I want to do next. Well, 4 hours later with head phones in this is what I produced. Funny how once I start painting I can't always stop until I'm at a point where I feel it needs to be left alone.

With this one, I was continuing to consider the image of the Old Man's Baccy, with the denim and paint, but actually was really interested in creating the background colour on the hardboard. I was going to let this dry to work into it again next week, but then, well I just kept going.

I think that this is a work in progress really, that I'll return to next week.

The 2nd image is one that I started a few weeks ago that I've worked back into, along the theme of today.
