Fabric printing

I've been block fabric printing on cotton using Speedball Block Printing Fabric Ink.

Although screen printing on fabric is much quicker, I can do this from home and it gives the definite relief print quality that I love from lino prints.

I've tried using lots of different inks for relief print on fabric but find this one works really well. It dries quickly and cures within a week, although I still prefer the re-assurance of curing it by ironing on the back after a couple of days drying at room temperature.

I plan to make cushions with this first batch of fabric and also to print some tote bags for Leeds Print Fest in March 2020.
