Voluntary work at Art Club

For the last 4 Thursday's I have volunteered at the local primary school art club. It was for the Year 2 class after school.

I loved it!! It's Millie's class so I know the children as well which is nice. It was quite different to working with teenagers ;)

Week 1: We showed them a famous painting of a tiger in a jungle. They had cardboard gekos that had already been cut out for them. They used different materials and colours to decorate them.

Week 2: Painting jungle animals and a jungle landscape (messy!!)

Week 3: Making masks

Week 4: Making puppets of jungle animals (in week 1 they had all written their best jungle animal and so this is what they made this week).
