Sun Prints

Hello! It's still super sunny so of course we have to make the most of it!

Sun prints using transparent dye and flattened flowers. Most of the flowers are ones that have inspired my small watercolours.

I'm thinking of using these to make collages and possibly sew into them. I'm also doing these as an experiment so as to increase in scale once back at uni and have some room.

I'd like to do a large scale sheet of material in orange with reds I think. The kids will be off school soon so won't have quite as much time but I must use some time in the summer to do this :)

The first 2 images are of course the objects covering the dye on the cloth. The last 2 show the finished product (so far anyway!)
