This exhibition was AWESOME!!! I loved it. I have wanted to see this for such a long time. Where to begin?

Well, I saw David Hockney!! In the actual person! So cool ha ha. Starstruck!

The exhibition. Well if you haven't been before, one of the cool things is that you can't tell who has painted what until you look it up in your little pocket guide. This means that, I think, people are drawn to images that they like, or that they find striking or attractive in what ever way. Rather then being drawn to images that have been approved as a well known artist.

You could be looking at a Tracey Emin placed next to a painting that your neighbour back home did. And I think that there is something rather marvellous about that.

I have included some images that I was drawn to. Interestingly most of them were Royal Academist. I also recognised the style of some artists, Anselm Kiefer, Gillian Ayres, Bob and Roberta Smith.

I also loved the diversity of types of art. There was a painting on a slice of bread (India Dewer), prints on leaves, prints of birds (Cathie Pilkington RA).

I was interested in an image by Suzy Miles because it reminds me of my art a bit, in that it looks like a natural theme, with colour being vibrant, important and abstract.

'Bose Blumen' Anselm Kiefer RA
