Lecturer exhibitions 2017 (Lay & Bodman)

These were two separate exhibitions by 2 of my lecturers at The University of Sunderland.

Marcia Lay's exhibition was a joint exhibition with her husband Mark. Her work was a wonderful, colourful mix of mixed media collage, paintings and prints. Of feelings evoked by a place.

Virginia's exhibition was at The Customs House in South Shields. The large scale paintings showed an impressive use of texture and variety of mark making and colour that drew the viewer in to examine the image closer.
