Autumn Printing!
I love this time of year. I love the trees changing colour, love getting snuggled up in coats and scarves, but particularly love that my lovely children are back at school and I can print again ha ha.
This autumn I've been experimenting with caustic soda on lino to create painterly marks that I've then cut into further before printing as a relief print (the article will appear on People of Print later in the month).

I'm also making work for the National Glass Centre in Sunderland where I'll be exhibiting at their Christmas fair (23rd and 24th November).
This has involved:
hand printed fabric that I've made into cushions
lino cut pink angel cards
crochet bags and so on :)
Another project that I'm very excited about is that I've bought some Speedball Night Glo fabric ink! This Halloween me and the kids are going to screen print some spooky glow in the dark t-shirts!!!! Yay!!!!
I've stocked up my print supplies in Broom House Farm and will keep adding to it coming up to Christmas so check it out! Click on the images to go to the relevant mentioned site!
Happy Autumnal Printing!!!
